Rumored Halo Battle Royale Project Seemingly Canceled

Halo Infinite has confirmed the details of a huge update coming to the game's Forge mode on January 30. After a rocky launch back in 2021, Halo Infinite continues to make positive steps in winning over the game's community.

Dungeonborne is an upcoming first person PvPvE dungeon crawler developed in Unreal Engine 5 that thrusts players into a dark fantasy world, where you get to feel every sword swing as you slay monsters with might and magics. Dungeonborne combines dungeon crawling with the realms of extraction and battle royale gameplay to spice things up and create a unique spin on the genre.

If you noticed that there hasn’t been a ton of hype or buildup to the return of the Halo TV Series on Paramount+ ever since the Season 2 trailer dropped, there’s a reason for that. Halo Infinite won't receive a sixth season update and is moving away from the 'seasons' model entirely. Instead, on January 30th it'll receive a new arena map, a new operation and a handful of other new features, and it'll continue to be updated with shorter "Operation" battle passes in future.
