Avengers 5 and Avengers: Secret Wars may have settled on a plan for Kang the Conqueror after Jonathan Majors was fired from the role.
After Marvel Studios fired Majors from the Kang role immediately after he was found guilty of two misdemeanor counts of assault and harassment, the company was forced to decide whether to recast the character or add a new villain to the MCU's overarching multiverse saga. After several rumors and reports about Kang's role being dropped or diminished, the latest rumor suggests Marvel Studios is not done with Kang the Conqueror. Still, they may need to add another adversary to the next twoAvengers movies.
Daniel Richtman reports that Marvel Studios has decided to keep Kang as the main villain of Avengers 5 and Avengers: Secret Wars. However, the company also wants to add another villain to the Multiverse saga, though the identity of this new foe was not divulged and may not have been decided. This rumor, which has not been verified by Marvel Studios, contradicts previous reports that Avengers 5 would drop Kang entirely or minimize his role, claims that fans believed were correct after Marvel Studios officially removed The Kang Dynasty subtitle from Avengers 5.
Regardless of how substantial the character's role may be, the rumors and verified reports on Kang's future in the MCU all point to the villain remaining on board for the MCU's multiverse saga. Recasting the character could be a daunting task, as Majors' performance was widely praised and many regarded his portrayal as one of the only high points of the panned Ant-Man 3. Fortunately, the rumored contenders for Majors replacement as Kang, including Colman Domingo and John David Washington, have all proven themselves to be talented in their own right, assuring fans that there's no shortage of gifted actors to play the next Avengers villain.
As for who the second Avengers villain could be, fans are likely hoping for Doctor Doom. The infamous Fantastic Four foe is one of the more obvious Marvel villains worthy of being an Avengers-level threat and played a significant role in versions of the Secret Wars storyline in the comics. While introducing such a prominent villain so late into the multiverse saga may be difficult, fans have proposed several ways to introduce Doctor Doom to the MCU that are befitting of a villain of his stature.
Of course, Doctor Doom is not the only potential Kang replacement. Marvel Studios has several options when finding another villain worthy of succeeding Thanos as the Avengers' greatest foe. The only question is how effectively can they introduce a second villain to Avengers 5 and Secret Wars without it feeling forced, and can this new villain be an equal to Kang without making the Conqueror feel

How much does someone who built the foundations of Pokémon Go still play the game, eight years on? It's the first question I ask Ed Wu, senior vice president of Pokémon Go, as we set off on a walk together around a leafy London park — our phones in hand, Pokémon Go open. «I spend as much of my time beating up the game as possible,» he laughs. This is often using work-in-progress beta builds, he admits, to ensure upcoming features are bug-tested. But he still plays his «official» main account when he can — and it's clearly a source of pride that his was the first ever user account — or one of the first, he can't quite recall — registered on Pokémon Go's live server back at launch in the summer of 2016.

On the set of Ex Machina and Annihilation director Alex Garland's latest movie, authenticity was key. Civil War, an action-packed film that follows a near-future version of the US as it's torn apart by a tyrannical president, seceded states, and violence, used real tanks, real weapons, and real jets to bring its warfare to life.

The Dragon's Dogma 2 community has been left shaken by the existence of Dragonsplague – a deadly illness introduced in the sequel that can result in entire towns being killed. David Gaider, the creator of Dragon Age's setting, has spoken out against the current state of the games industry, and the "fear" developers have of needing to crunch to make enormous games as if it's the only way forward. He believes that "it doesn't have to be that way," but that if it did, "maybe the industry deserves to die."
