A new leak for has emerged, seemingly revealing that the main characters from Family Guy and Metal Gear Solid are coming to Epic Games‘ battle royale game.
A picture of an Xbox Store ad for the game was taken by Twitter user MGA_Lani (and shared by user Shiina), showing eight characters standing on and around a vehicle. Two of those characters are quite familiar, as Family Guy’s Peter Griffin and Metal Gear Solid’s Solid Snake are part of the group.
Peter is wearing a tuxedo and seems slightly slimmer than his usual design while Solid Snake appears to be based on his Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty design. This is the Solid Snake costume that tends to appear most frequently in media outside of the Metal Gear Solid series, including the different Super Smash Bros. games and the crossover fighting game DreamMix TV: World Fighters.
It sounds like the two characters will be part of the new season’s Battle Pass, meaning players will unlock them by playing and fulfilling objectives to progress through the pass once it’s purchased. The current season ends on Sunday, December 2, meaning the new season with these characters will likely start the day after.

These wouldn’t be the first major characters to come to Fortnite in 2023, as the year has been filled with big crossovers. Members of Futurama’s Planet Express crew, main characters from the popular manga and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan, heroes and villains from the Star Wars prequels, Disney and horror icons alike, and more have all arrived in the massive multiplayer shooter in the last year.

Fortnite is the surprise hit of the winter gaming season. Although the battle royale game has maintained popularity for several years, it’s now seeing yet another massive surge in interest. Last week, Epic Games released several new modes that bring entirely different kinds of games to Fortnite. Among the additions is a rhythm game called Fortnite Festival. In it, players can form bands with others while playing as Fortnite characters. Now, players are using it to create the most absurd bands possible and share clips online as characters like Goku, Peter Griffin, Kratos, and Gojo hit the stage.
Fortnite Festival — the game's new rhythm-based mode developed by Rock Band studio Harmonix — will let you use your plastic guitars and drums in the future.
Wanting a piece of the Minecraft pie, Epic has teamed up with some iconic Danish toymakers to create their own flavour of a blocky open-world survival game and to help you jump in, we’ve got how to play LEGO Fortnite and if it is a separate game explained.
Fortnite’s long-awaited Chapter 5 will revamp the release’s traversal gameplay, while adding some headline new features, including a train and the ability to customise your weapon. All of this has been teased as part of a new trailer, which also shows off some previously leaked Battle Pass skins, including Solid Snake and Peter Griffin.
Epic Games wasn't resting on its laurels, it would seem, as following on from the dizzying heights of Fortnite OG, it has given us what we all wanted and put Peter Griffin in Fortnite — and we’ve got where to find him and how to get the skin explained.
Fortnite's big Chapter 5 update has strangely made a lot of its characters look a lot angrier, as it's removed smiling faces for anyone with default animations.
Fortnite's latest event has brought the likes of Peter Griffin and Metal Gear's legendary solider Snake to the island for the first time. Most of the changes have been received pretty well, apart from the animation tweaks that a fan doxxed a developer over, but there is one certain feature that Metal Gear fans in particular are up in arms over. Snake has been thoroughly de-caked once again.
Epic Games has changed the speed of Fortnite's storm circles following player feedback.
In Chapter 5 Season 1 players can track down NPC Characters to trade for useful items and perks. A total of eight NPCs can be found scattered across the new island, and players can trade with them using Gold Bars, a currency that’s earned from defeating enemies, opening chests, and more. Trading with NPCs can give you a valuable edge in combat and exploration.
With Fortnite Chapter 5: Season 1 the game has embarked on a subterranean adventure! It has ushered this following The Big Bang event that reshaped the Chapter 4 island. Branded as "Underground," this season introduces a myriad of changes, including a revamped island, novel gameplay elements like boss battles, LEGO-themed skins, and the inclusion of iconic characters such as Metal Gear's Solid Snake and Family Guy's Peter Griffin. The Fortnite Chapter 5: Season 1 update completely overhauls the battle royale landscape, introducing new locations like a functional railway with a travel-worthy train, marinas, mansions, and a fresh grassland area. Snow blankets certain areas, providing an immersive environmental shift.
Over the weekend, Epic Games made memes a reality by adding Family Guy family guy Peter Griffin to the all-consuming Fortnite universe.
