The Palworld developers have recently teased a major expansion for the game’s building system. Palworld already has quite an extensive building system which many gamers have been using to craft surprisingly creative bases, but this update could give the community even more options to work with.
Palworld is among the most surprising hits of 2024. In less than two months, Palworld already reached over 25 million players, with 15 million people buying it on Steam, and 10 million playing it on Xbox, many via Game Pass. Recently, Palworld’s developer Pocketpair teased a new update focused on the game’s building system. The announcement was made via the official Pocketpair Discord, and the same information was also communicated on the company’s Twitter, the same place where a video of four awesome Palworld bases was shared. While this is exciting news for Palworld fans, gamers must temper their expectations, as Palworld’scommunity manager Bucky confirmed that the upgrade to the building system will not be featured in the next update. This new announcement comes on the heels of a recent Palworld update that made managing bases easier. This recent update corrects that by allowing players to use the Monitoring Stand to directly control what their Pals are doing and being able to prevent them from performing some actions.
Palworld has had several issues since its early access release, but it seems that Pocketpair is finally able to move past fixing the game’s bugs and improving the overall stability. Soon after the game’s launch, Pocketpair revealed the Palworld road map. According to the road map, Palworld will eventually gain more endgame content like Raid Bosses, as well as new islands, brand-new Pals, and even PvP content like a Pal Arena. None of these updates are live yet, as the company first focused on improving the game’s performance and getting rid of bugs, but the upcoming building update is a sign that the company is finally starting to make good on its promises.
