Season 10 of Overwatch 2 seems to have introduced a bug that affects the mobility of Genji as well as other heroes capable of wall climbing, players have noticed. While Overwatch 2's latest season comes with a long list of patch notes that detail nerfs, buffs, and changes for various heroes, particularly those of the tank and support varieties, it doesn't seem like Genji was intentionally selected to receive nerfs this time around.
The handful of brutal nerfs that Genji has received throughout Overwatch 2's lifespan so far has led to no shortage of memes within the game's community, but overall, it seems Blizzard are content with the DPS character's position for the moment. Season 10 has been quite generous with regard to buffs, especially for some of the game's tanks, which have been in a notoriously bad spot since the significant gameplay changes that were brought with Overwatch 2's ninth season. As such, heroes including Doomfist, Junker Queen, Reinhardt, and Sigma have all received slight buffs to some of their abilities, while Wrecking Ball has seen some more in-depth changes to his abilities.
Since the release of Overwatch 2 Season 10, though, some Overwatch 2 players have noticed that Genji can no longer wall climb after double-jumping. A clip demonstrating this was recently shared in a post from a fan known as mapleer, though it's also known that Hanzo and Kiriko have difficulty wall climbing now after executing a jump or movement-based ability. It's thought that this movement nerf is an unintended consequence of a bug, though some players have speculated that it's the byproduct of Blizzard's attempt to resolve an issue that allowed for infinite wall climbing. This bug fix was mentioned in the patch notes, and could itself be considered a nerf to the character.
The mobility of Overwatch 2's cyber ninja hero has always been an integral aspect of his character, allowing players to more easily evade enemy attacks, reach positions at greater elevations, and scale obstacles to more easily pursue targets. Double-jumping into a wall climb isn't a particularly niche movement combo either, and is likely one that's burned into the muscle memory of many experienced Genji players. Bugs such as this may have a greater impact on Genji mains than would otherwise be expected, so fans can only hope that the issue is addressed in an early-season patch.
It's not unrealistic to expect the new season to have brought in a variety of new bugs either, as this has certainly proven to be the case in past seasons of Overwatch 2. Players have already spotted a number of minor bugs affecting various characters, and it's not unlikely that more will be discovered as the season unfolds.
Overwatch 2 is Blizzard's free-to-play

The golden horse’s campaign of terror hasn’t ended yet in Blizzard’s Overwatch 2, but it’s somewhat curtailed thanks to the latest patch. Tank hero Orisa has seen key survival skills, Fortify and Javelin Spin, the former having a duration of 3.5 seconds from 4.5 (and 20 percent slower movement speed) while the latter’s cooldown has increased to nine seconds from seven.
Blizzard has recently implemented an Overwatch 2 update, which includes nerfs to Orisa's Fortify and Javelin Spin abilities, as well as to Venture's Smart Excavator, Drill Dash, and Tectonic Shock abilities. This update aims to refine gameplay dynamics and ensure a balanced experience, while also addressing some Overwatch 2 bugs to ensure smoother gameplay for players across all platforms.
Though he has only recently joined the fight in Overwatch 2, Mauga is a hero that fans had been aware of for years prior to his appearance as a playable character, and some of his early concepts still have the potential to appear in the game as skins for the Samoan tank hero. Though Mauga still hasn't got all that many cosmetics available to him in Overwatch 2 due to his relatively recent addition to the game, many fans feel this is all the more reason Blizzard should consider giving him some new outfits based on the character's popular early concepts.
Following the introduction of a whole new currency to Overwatch 2 with the release of its tenth season, one fan of the game shares an odd bug which causes a spray item to cost Mythic Prisms rather than credits, resulting in the usually inexpensive cosmetic item surpassing the cost of an entire Mythic skin. Overwatch 2's new Mythic Prism currency allows players to purchase any of the Mythic skins introduced to the game so far, and can be obtained from the premium battle pass as well as via optional microtransactions.
With all Dragonflight Raids and Dungeons returning in Season 4, players will have renewed access to some favorite trinkets; however, there are likely changes to these beloved items since you last equipped them. Taeznak, our guide writer and one of the implementers of trinkets and cantrips for Simulationcraft, discusses all the Season 4 trinket changes and how they compare to past iterations.
The Clash game mode is just one of the new features to come to Overwatch 2 with Season 10, though the arrival of the Hanaoka map for this mode coincides with the temporary removal of the classic map Hanamura due to an issue that wrecked the level's geometry and made it completely unplayable. Although Hanamura doesn't appear in regular Quick Play or Competitive playlists, along with all other Overwatch 2 maps that are part of the old Assault game mode, these levels have nonetheless existed in the game since launch and are accessible via either the Arcade game mode or through custom games.
Capcom has shared a list of patch notes for a Dragon's Dogma 2 PS5 update that'll drop at some point later this month, and chief among them is news the game's dragonsplague mechanic will be reduced in frequency and made much more easily noticeable. The patch notes confirm the infection will be spread at a slower rate and your Pawns' eyes will glow a lot more, making the disease a lot easier to deal with.
Overwatch 2's various animated shorts have cemented some of the series' most iconic moments, and a fantastic piece of fan artwork inspired by the upcoming Mirrorwatch event puts a spin on one particularly memorable moment between Tracer and Widowmaker. Season 10 of Overwatch 2 has proven to be a big one for the game, bringing with it a new hero, some widely-requested changes to the battle pass, and a plethora of awesome new skins which see heroes become villains.
Season 10 of Overwatch 2 brings in a number of interesting alternate universe-themed skins for various heroes, and some fans have pointed out an interesting detail in Reinhardt's new Talon skin which shows that these Mirrorwatch skins take this alternate reality theme very seriously. Many of the new cosmetics introduced in the Season 10 battle pass for Overwatch 2 feature similar skins for heroes such as Brigitte, Doomfist, Genji, and more, and many of them are rich in details that some players may easily overlook.
Various skins available in Overwatch 2 boast some neat details that add to their charm, and the new Talon Brigitte skin available with Season 10 is one such example, bringing a cosmetic overhaul to Brigitte's cat as well as the support hero herself. The latest season of Overwatch 2 is a pretty big one for cosmetics, and while the season pass is packed with quite a few skins for players to unlock, it seems more are yet to come with the limited-time Mirrorwatch event which begins near the end of the month.
