Ah, my first ever Cyber Monday. Well, not really my first, as I've been buying, selling, and reviewing PC hardware since the late 1990s, but this is the first one where I've really sat up and paid attention to exactly what deals are out there.

Razer BlackShark V2 Gaming Headset | $99.99 $59.99 at Amazon ($40 off)
Simply the best wired headset you can buy. It sounds great and has a simple, functional, and incredibly comfortable design. Even at full price these cans are worth it, so this is one sweet-sounding deal.
Price check: Razer $59.99 | Geekbuying: $129.99
Your ears deserve some love this Black Friday, and there's no better way to treat them than with a new headset. I know wireless is all the rage these days, but don't overlook a great deal on the Razer BlackShark V2 wired gaming headset. Not only do we recommend it, it's our number one pick for best overall wired gaming headset, bar none.
Best of all, for Black Friday you can nab them for a full 40% off. Typically it's priced at $99.99, and it does pretty frequently drop to $79.99—but only once before has it dropped to $59.99 on Amazon, so if you've had your eye on them it's a great time to buy.
«The 50mm TriForce Titanium drivers are designed with discrete ports to separate bass, mid, tremble tones from interfering with each other,» we said in our glowing review. «The result is a richer sound than a standard set, and keeps it on par with HyperX's 50mm dual-chamber neodymium driver headset. They're like a tribute to HyperX's own design, and no worse for it.»
Be it music or gaming, the BlackShark «makes for a fantastic experience,» our reviewer continues. «Where there's a warmth to the musical experience that means I've been oscillating between the melancholy of Swift's Folklore and the toe-tapping of Seasick Steve's latest, and I'm still reeling after an explosive round of Hunt: Showdown.»

Dell S2722DGM | 27-inch | 165Hz | 1440p | VA | $299.99$199.99 at Dell (save $100) Our favorite overall gaming monitor is the pricey, ultrawide 34" Alienware QD-OLED, but our top 1440p pick is this good old fashioned 16:9 display from Dell. It was discounted to $250 over the summer, and now it's down to $200. A great pick for a midrange build.
Fanatec CSL DD / Gran Turismo DD Pro Upgrade Kit | Load-cell brake | 8Nm boost kit | Pedal plates | $324.85$169.95 at Fanatec (save $154.90)This combo deal brings down the price of all the key upgrades you could want for a CSL DD sim racing setup. You get the load-cell brake, which in turn means you can move your current brake pedal to act as a clutch pedal. And all these pedals get shiny new metal plates. Also the boost kit offers more torque through the wheel, up to 8Nm. Now all you need is an F1-style wheel. Or rather that's what I need...
After 10 years, Valdis Story: Abyssal City still sits in my brain like an oddly comforting Mind Flayer tadpole, and with it being $5.24 in the Steam Autumn Sale, you have no reason not to join me in the bliss of this criminally underrated Metroidvania.
Shure MV7 | Condenser mic | USB, XLR | 48kHz sampling rate | 20-20kHz frequency response | $249.99 $224 at Amazon(Save $25.99)If you're really serious about podcasting or streaming, then a high quality mic is a must and we reckon this Shure model is the best overall for these roles. Yes, it's pricey and 10% off isn't exactly the most amazing deal, but if you're looking for the best PC mic around well, you've found it.
All customers can take advantage of this discount, but My Best Buy Plus/Total members get the best price.
Alienware 34 AW3423DWF | 34-inch | 165Hz | QD-OLED | $1,099.99$799.99 at Dell (save $250) Alienware's fancy QD-OLED panel just got that little bit cheaper. It's still not exactly entry-level at $800, but think of it as a long term investment that will make every single gaming session pop. Once you've experienced per-pixel OLED-style lighting, you won't want to go back to LCD tech. You can read our Alienware QD-OLED review for more.

EK pre-configured custom kits | 24% off site-wide sale If you're eyeing up a major overhaul of your gaming PC's cooling and case, you might want to check out EK's site-wide 24% off sale for Black Friday. The Loop kits it has on offer are all the pieces you need (sans the actual hardware) to build a properly looped gaming PC that will likely run a whole lot cooler than anything an air-cooled rig could offer. You still have to build the PC yourself, but it takes out a lot of the pain of planning it.
All PS5 DualSense controller colours are on sale in the UK for Black Friday.
Playseat Trophy | Sim racing cockpit | Red | $599$499 at Playseat (save $100) If you can spare the space (this racing rig won't pack down to a smaller size), this is one of the comfiest and sturdy racing rigs I've ever used at home. There's space for your pedals and wheel as standard, and everything stays firmly in place so you can really slam on the load-cell brake if need be while racing. Logitech aren't selling it any cheaper right now, so worth a punt on Amazon's discount price.
Corsair TC100 | Fabric | $249.99$189.99 at Best Buy (save 60)The TC100 is our favorite affordable gaming chair right now, following up on the popular T3 Rush with a great look and genuine comfort. You can read more in our review. And on a personal note the fact it allows you to sit cross legged is a big plus for the TC100 and a big cross against most bucket seat style chairs.
