One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 new DLC characters to be announced on July 22

Following her announcement as the first all-new character to join the Street Fighter 6 roster by way of DLC, A.K.I. gave fans a taste of what to expect when she is added to the game this fall. During this weekend's Evo 2023 fighting game tournament, we received a host of new announcements, including new characters added to the roster of the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 and even a surprise TMNT collaboration with Street Fighter 6. However, Capcom didn't stop there, as it gave us the first teaser trailer for its 20th playable character, A.K.I.

One Piece begins with the death of a symbol. Gol D. Roger, the King of the Pirates, is executed in front of a massive audience, some of which are young pirates that either idolize him or see his demise as a way to clear space for themselves. Not a lot is known about the big, grinning dude — few people are aware of the details of his life, what his personality is like, or how the navy even managed to catch him. However, the message that he imparts is anything but a mystery: He has left a treasure out there, a “One Piece” that will defy your imagination. And now it’s up to you to find it.

Capcom has revealed the second DLC character for Street Fighter 6 at EVO 2023, with AKI set to be the 20th fighter in the game when she’s released in autumn 2023.

Capcom has announced Street Fighter 6 downloadable content character A.K.I. and a collaboration with Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. A.K.I. is due out this fall, but the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration will launch on August 8.

Arc System Works has announced Guilty Gear: Strive Season 3 downloadable content character Johnny and the Season 3 update. Both will launch on August 24 and act as the official start to the game’s third season.

Returning character Raven and newcomer Azucena from Peru will be playable in Tekken 8, Bandai Namco announced.

Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest X Online‘s version 7.0 expansion Dragon Quest X Online: The Door to the Future and the Sleeping Girl. It will launch in 2024 in Japan. More information will be announced after the story of version 6.0 comes to a close.

The King of Fighters XV downloadable content will launch on August 8, followed by Duo Lon this fall, developer SNK announced.

Publisher Arc System Works and developer French-Bread have announced fighting game sequel Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC (Steam). It will launch in early 2024 with rollback netcode and English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, and Spanish language support.

The X-Men franchise had its share of oddball characters in the '90s, but one of the most divisive and controversial of them all has made his way back into comics, with new details of his return arriving in August 2's Scarlet Witch #7 from writer Steve Orlando, artists Lorenzo Tammetta and Sara Pichelli, colorist Frank Williams, and letterer Cory Petit. I’d like to think that, if he were still alive, Homer would at least be a little envious of the work of Eiichiro Oda. The mangaka and creator of One Piece has created a saga in manga that rivals the work of the Greek poet. Perhaps not because of lyricism — One Piece is peak potty humor — but for the way it uses one crew of seafarers to tell a complicated history of an entire world and its nations’ conflicts.

Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Pieces Interactive have announced the Alone in the Dark Collector’s Edition, which will be limited to 5,000 units worldwide.
