NVIDIA's flagship Ada Lovelace GPU, the GeForce RTX 4090, has seen a decent drop in pricing as the global supply chains reach a steady level.
The top-tier Ada Lovelace SKU saw a tremendous rise in pricing during the previous quarter, which was mainly associated with how NVIDIA saw the US-China fiasco, where the GeForce RTX 4090 received an export ban, causing a shortage not just in Chinese markets but global ones as well. That led to NVIDIA releasing a revised GeForce RTX 4090D GPU for China which despite its release still saw consumers showing interest in the original card. We reported how Chinese sellers were profiting by selling such GPUs here.
In November 2023, the GPU almost hit the $2000 mark in the US, with high-end variants even exceeding the barrier, which ultimately made it difficult to acquire the GPU due to its inflated prices and low stock availability.
However, it seems like things have settled at the moment, as data posted by 3DCenter discloses that the pricing of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4090 is witnessing a steady drop, specifically in Germany, where the average retail pricing is within the €1850- €1950, which is almost a 3% to 5% drop from the previous month. The price drop has particularly taken pace since January 2024, and based on the current trends, it looks like we might see some variants of the GeForce RTX 4090 retailing for a decent price, but still above the €1,799 MSRP.
Well, the pricing levels in Europe show that things are improving when it comes to the overall Ada Lovelace pricing since we have seen mid-tier variants such as the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti getting discounted as well. Over at Newegg, we are finally seeing the GeForce RTX 4090 GPUs now falling to $1899 US. The same GPUs were selling for $1999 US at the lowest just one month ago.
Although we are not yet certain about when we will see the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 retailing at its true MSRP of $1599 US, inventory levels might be the focus first, hence at least there would be improvements seen within the general availability of multiple variants.

The Nvidia GeForce Now library has expanded to encompass a handful of high-profile Activision Blizzard games, including Diablo 4 and multiple recent Call of Duty entries. Long before the Suicide Squad went on to try about killing the Justice League, it dug its own grave. The action-adventure shooter from Rocksteady was born with the burden of living up to the lofty standards set by the studio's beloved Batman: Arkham games. Then, it stepped on a rake when last year's gameplay reveal confirmed that the game would be an always-online, live service looter shooter — a departure from Rocksteady's repertoire of narrative-focussed single-player experiences. And when it finally came out in early access ahead of its February 2 release, the developers had to pull it offline due to a bug that led to full story completion just as players logged in to the game for the first time.

There are some gaming laptop deals that will give you a decent device for cheap, but if you’re looking at the other end of the spectrum, we’ve found an offer from Dell that you should consider. The Alienware m18 gaming laptop with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card, originally priced at $4,300, is down to $3,300 following a $1,000 discount. It’s still not what you’d call affordable, but that’s a lot of savings on your purchase that you can spend on video games and accessories. You need to be quick though, because its price may be back to normal as soon as tomorrow.

Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League received a patch last week to nerf burning damage and how it scales into the end-game. However, server and login issues persist even after all these weeks. Game director Axel Rydby revealed in the recent Weekly Developer Update that its next patch will address the same, though “we might not be able to fix all those issues right away.”
