New Fallout TV show scene gives us a taste of conflict resolution

Before its first season has aired, Amazon's Fallout series has been set up for a second run.

Fallout: New Vegas has endured in the cultural zeitgeist in a way that few other games have. Even within the Fallout fandom, it’s earned a prized position as a true classic of the RPG genre. That love is still reflected today, in goofy memes and fan art and enduring debates over which endgame is the right one. Even though the game has aged terribly in some respects — characters look rough, and not just from living in the apocalypse — it still persists as one of the high points of the Fallout franchise. The new Fallout TV series is set to premiere on Amazon, so there’s seldom been a better time to revisit New Vegas or play it for the first time.

One of Fallout's showrunners has acknowledged concerns that Amazon Prime Video is a poor fit for the series. Speaking with TheGamer, Graham Wagner says he's aware that Fallout has always had an "anti-cooperate" energy, but adds that this irony was "part of the appeal".

Fallout showrunners, Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet are open to a crossover with the games. This opens the door for anything introduced in the show to be used in future Fallout entries, as the showrunners are up for sharing ideas.

A recently debuted SimCity 4 mod adds a fully functional 3D camera to the game, thus giving it a whole new look. This add-on is yet another example illustrating how SimCity 4 continues to attract both player and modder interest more than 21 years following its launch.

The power armour seen in the upcoming Fallout show is real and was piloted by several actors. However, one of those actors, Aaron Moten, tells me it was "exhausting" to wear, and wasn't incredibly flexible to move around in while filming.

On the 11th April Amazon will launch their brand new television series based on the Fallout franchise and to celebrate they are giving Amazon Prime subscribers Fallout 76 on both Xbox and PC.

Bethesda, the world-renowned game development studio behind the Fallout franchise, rolled out a new hotfix patch for the multiplayer action role-playing game Fallout 76. This release came just days after the previous Fallout 76 update and is aimed at rectifying some significant issues to enhance the gaming experience.

Fallout 76 update 1.7.10.12 has rolled out to PC and console users on March 26. Called America's Playground, the patch adds a lot of new Atlantic City content and revamps the way Fallout 76 seasons work, among other changes.
