Devil May Cry is getting a new anime adaptation, Netflix has announced via a very brief teaser trailer. Capcom's beloved action series has always been an obvious candidate for such a project, and this one sounds promising. It's being crafted by South Korean animation outfit Studio Mir (The Legend of Korra, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Dota: Dragon's Blood, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf and more), and it's being spearheaded by Adi Shankar, who was the producer on Netflix's lauded Castlevania anime.

Netflix has announced the Devil May Cry anime series, based on the Capcom series of the same name. It is created by Adi Shankar and animated by South Korean animation studio Studio Mir.
