A Minecraft player has created a library dedicated to every Enchantment in the game. The various Minecraft equipment can have lots of different Enchantments applied to them, and this player has an idea to ensure they never run out of power-ups.
Enchantments have been a useful Minecraft feature since the game was released. While the system has been improved over the years, it's largely been utilized to make items like Shovels, Pickaxes, and armor more powerful. Version 1.4.6 introduced the ability for players to enchant books that could be used on items later. This has enabled players to use any excess experience points on a book that can be combined with items in an Anvil. One player has decided to enchant as many books as required for them to fill a library on their server with all the powers in the game.
YouTuber PuffingFish HQ recently shared a video highlighting the creation of their impressive Enchantment library. The video begins with the gamer building the interior of their library before stocking the Bookshelves with Minecraft Books. The player then unloads some Shulker Boxes full of Books into Chests behind labeled Bookshelves. A system of Redstone, Targets, and Slime Blocks connected to Hoppers then unloads these books into the Bookshelves as the YouTuber records the empty shelves being filled. This system is activated when PuffingFish HQ flips the lever connected to the Redstone system.
The materials included in the library interior are Minecraft Barrels, Bricks, Chains, Chiseled Tuff, Gold Blocks, Iron Trapdoors, Oak Wood and Slabs, Signs, Redstone Lamps, Sandstone, Stone Slabs, and different types of leaves. Some of the Oak Wood is stripped to add further variety to the structure, while the Chains flank both sides of the Levers. The Iron Trapdoors are used primarily for floor aesthetics, and the Gold Blocks are on the walls and areas that extend beyond the wall. In the main library, Enchantments are indicated by Hanging Signs, while the Book loading area has standard Signs on the Bookshelves, which have Stone Staircases to them.
Because PuffingFish HQ has left some space in their library, any Enchantments added through Minecraft updates may already have a place. As the YouTuber sped up the Book-collecting phase, it's currently unclear how long it took the gamer to acquire so many Enchantments. With the library highlighted from every angle, fans looking to replicate it may be able to follow this guide. Given that Enchantments are so helpful, this building will likely get lots of attention on their server.
