Bandai Namco has recently confirmed that One Piece Odyssey will be released for the Nintendo Switch on July 26. The upcoming Switch port will be the complete edition of One Piece Odyssey, coming with previously released DLC, as well as new outfits.
One Piece Odyssey was originally released in January 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Developed by ILCA and published by Bandai Namco, the game is an RPG in which the players control Monkey D. Luffy as well as the other Straw Hat Pirates in turn-based combat. The story focuses on the exploration of the mysterious Waford Island, a fallen sky island on which the heroes become stranded after a storm.
Now, Bandai Namco has unveiled an official trailer for the release of One Piece Odyssey: Deluxe Edition on Switch. The new edition will be available on July 26, and it will come with the “Reunion of Memories” DLC, which is accessible after players finish the main storyline. This new release will also have unique City of Water outfits, which were not available in previous versions of the game. One Piece Odyssey takes around 30 hours to beat, while the DLC lasts for around 10 hours, so new gamers will have a significant playtime when playing this RPG.
One Piece Odyssey is considered one of the best One Piece games. Not only were the game’s exploration and combat praised in many reviews, but the title’s storyline uses a clever mixture of a completely new plot with some of the most memorable moments of the franchise. In the game, the Straw Hat Pirates lose their powers soon after reaching Waford Island, and need to remember their greatest moments to regain their skills. So, One Piece Odyssey strikes a pretty good balance between nostalgia and new plots and characters, being a pretty good pick for both longtime and brand-new fans of the franchise alike.
While gamers who purchase the Switch version of One Piece Odyssey will be playing the ultimate version of the game content-wise, it’s also important to remember that Switch ports often come with hardware limitations. The Switch is an older, less powerful platform than current-gen consoles, so gamers should expect performance on par with the PS4’s release of the game. Fortunately, gamers have seen many excellent Switch ports in recent years, so the game will likely be well-optimized.
Based on Eiichiro Oda's popular shonen manga, ILCA's One Piece Odyssey is a turn-based RPG that tells an original storyline not found in the source material. When a storm hits the Thousand Sunny, the Straw Hats wind up separated and stranded on a strange island. Luffy must head out to find his crew while trying to unravel this island's secrets.

One prominent Persona leaker has made a claim that multiple upcoming games from Sega and its subsidiary Atlus will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. While the leaker hasn't named any of these titles specifically and Nintendo hasn't even officially confirmed the Switch 2's existence, some sources believe this could mean more Persona remakes will make their way to the console.
According to recent leaks, the Nintendo Switch could soon be receiving a revamped version of Nintendo World Championships. Created specifically for the titular Nintendo World Championships esports competition, the Nintendo World Championships 1990 NES cartridge is one of the rarest video games of all time, with only a little over 100 confirmed to be in existence. As one might imagine, this has made Nintendo World Championships highly sought-after by collectors.
Right now, Amazon is offering a $25 discountwhen you spend at least $250 on select gaming products, which includes handhelds like the standard and OLED models of the Nintendo Switch. Purchasing a Nintendo Switch OLED will discount the final price to $325 at checkout, while the vanilla Switch is on sale for $275. While this isn’t the lowest price we’ve ever seen on either of these handhelds, Amazon’s promotion is the best way to save on a factory mint model of the Nintendo Switch.

The rhythm action game from Tango Gameworks and Bethesda made waves following its debut early last year, wowing fans with its flashy artstyle and music. Hi-Fi Rush received multiple accolades at end-of-year award shows, including «Best Audio Design» at the 2023 Game Awards. Now, the game's rumored Switch release has just received its first official rating.
Earlier this year, multiple leaks and reports claimed that Hi-Fi Rush was headed to the Nintendo Switch, and though Tango Gameworks’ acclaimed rhythm action game has received a multiplatform launch, it’s only released for PS5, with there being no official word on it coming to Nintendo’s console.

While Xbox Game Pass is set to gain a selection of fantastic Day-One releases in the back half of April, subscribers may want to act fast to play the six games leaving the service in the coming weeks. To offset the amount of titles the platform offers, Microsoft always removes a handful of games whenever it brings in a new selection for players to experience. While that might sound like a bad deal, it makes sense given the already massive catalog on offer and users can still pick up the departing games for a discount before they eventually leave.
