Lego Fortnite’s debut builds momentum with 2.4M people playing at once

One of the biggest strengths of Lego is that you're only limited to your imagination. You're given a bunch of blocks and told to make whatever you like, and the same can mostly be said for Lego Fortnite, the free-to-play Minecraft-style mode recently added to Fortnite. While players are managing to make airships and recreate Star Destroyers, there's one big problem players are running into that's stopping them from unleashing their true creativity.

Lego Fortnite, just like the colorful blocks the game mode is based on, rewards creativity and has a fanbase that is very willing to use their creativity to the fullest. We've already seen players create some truly astonishing villages and castle, with one person having created a steerable airship just a few days after launch.

Somehow, LEGO Fortnite players have discovered how to build a teleporter creation that replicates fast travel. I have no idea how they did it, but it happened.

The grind is on as Lego Fortnite rolls into view and throws a back of assorted bricks at your feet. Combining the colourful world of Fortnite with the boundless creativity of Lego is a work of genius, and even in its most basic form, is a lot of fun. If you want a new crafting/survival game, then this isn’t a bad place to start.

Lego Fortnite is exactly what the name implies – it’s the wonderfully buildable (and aesthetically pleasing) world of Lego in all of its bricky glory, combined with Fortnite. Only, it’s not really combined with Fortnite, it’s just within Fortnite and uses its established STUFF to make a pretty swanky survival/crafting/building experience. 

LEGO Fortnite offers many creative ways to survive the night and ensure your village is safe, and Charms will be extremely vital for your journey in the game. However, it’s worth running over how and if you can upgrade these within the game to make them even better!

The Brite Bomber is a helpful guide when you first arrive in LEGO Fortnite, giving you small tips and tricks to make your journey easier as you begin your initial steps in this LEGO world. However, Brite Bomber does disappear at some point, and her location is a mystery.

Fortnite now has its very own survival crafting game mode,Lego Fortnite. There’s tons to do in the game, but knowing where to start can be hard.

Though LEGO Fortnite is fun and is, so far, deserving of its praise, there’s a major flaw with the game and it’s the building. Extremely ironic considering Fortnite and LEGO are all about building. Here are the community’s – and my! – thoughts on building in LEGO Fortnite.

Epic Games Inc. on Thursday released Lego Fortnite, the first in a series of new titles from the closely held video-game giant as part of an effort to expand beyond its cartoonish shooting game franchise.

Lego Fortnite is upon us, and it seems everyone wants to know what it's all about. With 2.3 million concurrent players as of this writing, the new survival crafting game is already the biggest thing in Fortnite.
