Microcenter is running some amazing combo deals on Intel Core i9-12900K, i7-12700K & i5-12600K, coupled with 32 GB memory & Z790 motherboards.
Older Intel CPUs such as the 12th Gen Alder Lake & 13th Gen Raptor Lake chips are available at some amazing discounts nowadays but Microcenter has some even better deals offered as a part of its CPU combo discounts. The latest combo deals are offered on the 12th Gen Alder Lake CPU family which includes the Core i9-12900K, Core i7-12700K, & Core i5-12600K.
Starting at the very top, the Intel Core i9-12900K boxed CPU is being offered in a combo package that includes a 32 GB DDR5-6000 kit (G.Skill Ripjaws S5) and an ASUS Z790-P Prime board. The individual cost of these two components is around $150-$200 US which means that you will be essentially paying $199 US for Intel's top-of-the-line Core i9 chip with 16 cores and 24 threads. The chip still offers a lot of gaming and multi-threading potential, making it a great choice for your latest PC builds.
Moving over to the Intel Core i7-12700K CPU deal, we have a 12-core and 20-thread chip which is coupled with the MSI Z790-A PRO WIFI DDR4 motherboard which comes with a 16 GB DDR4-3200 kit. Now DDR5 is the way to go but even DDR4 would be a nice choice for a mainstream build that costs $329 US in total. The components should be priced around $100-$120 US making the chip cost around $180 US alone.
Lastly, we have the Intel Core i5-12600KF with 10 cores and 16 threads which is coupled with the MSI Z790-P PRO WIFI DDR4 motherboard and 16 GB of DDR4-3200 G.Skill Ripjaws memory. The deal costs $249 US so the chip alone should cost close to $150 US. Amazon is also listing the Core i9-13900K flagship CPU with an ASUS PRIME Z790-A WIFI motherboard for $569.99 US.
