Sony has kept up a steady cadence of first party PlayStation releases for PC, having brought over two major games to the platform this year so far in the form of The Last of Us Part 1 and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. The question now, of course, is- what comes next?
As it turns out, the next first party PlayStation Studios game that will be making the jump to PC is going to be quite a big one, if a new rumour is anything to go by. As per a report published on Dealabs by prominent leaker billbil-kun, Sony is gearing up to launch Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).
Though details on its pricing or when it will be revealed are unknown, the leaker says the game’s release is imminent- likely within a month from now, at most. Given the release’s title, it’s safe to assume that in addition to the Forbidden West base game, it will also include its expansion, Burning Shores, which released exclusively for PS5 earlier this year.
Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition was also recently rated for PS5 by Singapore’s IMDA, so all signs do seem to be pointing at an imminent announcement. Stay tuned for more updates.
