The rumours of Nvidia's refresh of its RTX 40-series of GPUs have been steadily building for months and although the final specifications have yet to be set in stone, the dates when you can buy them all have been leaked. The RTX 4070 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super, and RTX 4080 Super will reportedly be announced 8 January 2024 and will reach retailers' shelves by 17, 24, and 31 January respectively. Oh, and the wholly unnecessary RTX 3050 6GB will be available in February, too.

Homeworld 3 has now got an official launch date, with Blackbird Interactive and Gearbox Publishing confirming that the game will be released on March 8th, 2024. In addition, there will be an documentary released going behind the scenes to see how Homeworld 3 has been developed. This will be coming at some point in December.
Rob Cunningham, CEO of Blackbird Interactive, commented, “Homeworld 3 is a game 20+ years in the making. The team has gone all out to develop the ultimate cinematic sci-fi strategy game our very patient fans deserve. Blackbird Interactive was born to create this game and we can’t wait to get it in the hands of sci-fi lovers and a whole new generation of PC gamers in March of 2024.”
“The Homeworld community has waited actual decades for this launch. We’re thrilled that their wait will finally be rewarded this March as players will be able to command the Mothership and continue their adventures,” said Steve Gibson, President of Gearbox Publishing. “We’re grateful to BBI for their incredible work, and to the players for communicating with us and ultimately trusting us with Homeworld’s legacy. Hopefully they feel that we’ve done it proper justice.”
In our preview for Homeworld 3, Stefan wrote, “As one of the many groundbreaking strategy series of the mid-late 90s, it’s fantastic to see Homeworld getting to step back into the limelight with a fully fledged sequel, but it’s equally gratifying to see how Blackbird Interactive are looking to take the series forward, not simply retreading the familiar ground of the decades old originals, but to introduce new ideas and modernise the series along the way.”
There are three editions of Homeworld 3 including Standard, Fleet Command, and Collector’s. Those who get the latter two will gain access to the game 72 hours before those who buy the Standard Edition. Anyone who preorders will get the Kushan Carrier War Games skin.
