Details surrounding Nintendo's next piece of hardware have been few and far between, with only rumors, leaks, and the opinions of industry analysts to go off right now. We know that Nintendo probably won't rock the boat too much due to the overwhelming success of the Switch, and industry analysts have predicted that the console will most likely be an "iteration" rather than a drastic change in design.

As part of major changes to Apple’s App Store policies to comply with EU regulations, the company has also announced that game streaming apps are now to be accepted on the App Store for the first time. This opens the door for Xbox Game Pass, GeForce Now, PlayStation Plus, Amazon Luna and other game streaming subscriptions to have dedicated apps on iPhone and iPad – they were previously only accessible via built-in web browsers.

Metroidvania-style puzzle platformer Airhead will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, and Luna on February 12 for $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.49, publisher HandyGames and developers Octato and Massive Miniteam announced. The PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch versions will follow at a later date.

Things are looking rosy over at Nintendo, as the gaming giant has announced it will be releasing a new pair of pastel pink Joy-Cons for the Nintendo Switch.

GalaxyTrail’s action platformer Freedom Planet 2 is out on April 4th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. It will be available digitally for $24.99 with cross-buy supported on PlayStation and Smart Delivery on Xbox platforms. Check out the latest trailer below.

Blobfish will release roguelike action shooter Brotato for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on January 30, the developer announced. Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer ZeniMax Online Studios announced have announced The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road, the next big expansion for the massively multiplayer online RPG. It will launch for PC on June 3, followed by PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on June 18.

Rockstar has announced it's removing Grand Theft Auto Online's clips editor on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from 20th February this year, explaining it's making the move as it approaches the «limits of what's possible» on previous-generation consoles.

Based on a recent series of tweets from Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke, it doesn't sound like Baldur's Gate 3 will be coming to any subscription service like PS Plus or Xbox Game Pass anytime soon.
