Guerrilla's Online PS5 Horizon Game Survives Sony Cull | Push Square

Shift Up and Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed that a free demo for its upcoming sci-fi action game Stellar Blade will launch this Friday, March 29.

Two years and a month after Horizon Forbidden West launched on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, PC gamers can finally step into the vast and gorgeous post-apocalyptic Western USA created by Guerrilla Games.

Revolutionary RPG Baldur's Gate 3 was a monstrous surpise last year, seemingly coming out of nowhere to contend with the industry's heavy hitters. Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has been revealed as the official title of the superhero game Uncharted creator Amy Hennig is making at Skydance New Media. It's slated to release next year, and stars Captain America and Black Panther during World War II. A trailer was revealed during a GDC livestream, which you can catch above.

The first Rise of the Ronin review score has been posted online, with Japanese outlet Famitsu awarding the soon-to-be-released PS5 game a total of 37/40 across four reviewers. Individually, the scores break down as three 9/10 scores and a 10/10. Our full PS5 verdict will be posted on Thursday, as the review embargo lifts.

Is that Ellie from The Last of Us we see in this trailer for mobile zombie shooter Doomsday: Last Survivors? No, on closer inspection, this is a character called Peggy – who’s basically Ellie. In fact, pretty much all of the game’s characters look agonisingly similar to someone more popular; Cynthia Calamity is effectively Jill Valentine from Resident Evil and Catherine Calamity looks a lot like Juliet Starling from Lollipop Chainsaw.

Sony have manage to leak their own demo of Stellar Blade by placing it on the PlayStation store by accident. It was quickly removed by a few people had manage to grab a copy by then and have posted the first 40 minutes on YouTube.
