Greg “Ghostcrawler” Street announces new games studio and MMORPG

Sony mobile developer Savage Game Studios has rebranded as Neon Koi after multiple executives left the company.

A new Subnautica game is under development at San Francisco-based developer Unknown Worlds Entertainment for a planned release in the first half of 2025. The news comes from the recent Q3 2023 earnings report issued by KRAFTON, the company behind PUBG. As you might recall, KRAFTON acquired Unknown Worlds Entertainment in October 2021 for an undisclosed sum.

Good news for those Assassin’s Creed fans who’ve already finished Mirage - a far more accomplishable task than in the series’ last few games - and are itching to dive back into the streets of ninth-century Baghdad for a fresh challenge: New Game Plus will arrive for free next month, along with a punishing new permadeath mode.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage was built as a shorter, more focused, and more concise experience than what we’ve grown accustomed to in Assassin’s Creed games in recent years, but those who’ve finished the game and want to dive back in for some more will soon have some new options to do so.

This week’s TV premieres are all heavy hitters — some more literally than others (Godzilla is pretty much always at fighting weight, and a total knockout at that). Netflix Games, the streamer's game subscription service that comes bundled with a Netflix subscription, has grown over time to include nearly 90 games across different genres. The platform adds new games to the service every month, which can be played on Android phones and tablets, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Now, Netflix Games is bringing four new titles inspired by popular films and shows on the streaming platform. As part of its ongoing Geeked Week 2023 showcase, Netflix has announced Money Heist, Shadow and Bone: Enter the Fold, Chicken Run: Eggstraction, and The Dragon Prince: Xadia — all mobile titles arriving soon for Netflix subscribers.
