Now he's announced his next venture: A new studio at NetEase called Worlds Untold, dedicated to developing «triple-A action adventure games with an emphasis on narrative and worldbuilding.»

Google Chrome turned 15 last month, and to commemorate the occasion, Google announced that the web browser will receive a makeover. The makeover would include “a fresh look and new features”, the company stated. As per the redesign, Chrome will be adopting the Material You theme that Google first introduced in Android. This means more rounded corners, refreshed icons, and the removal of the lock icon from the address bar. This will also mark the first redesign for the browser in 5 years, with its last makeover coming in 2018 when it shifted to Google Material Theme.

Today, Xbox announced it has signed a multi-year partnership with Inworld AI to take advantage of the company's generative AI technology alongside Microsoft's own Azure OpenAI service.

China's NetEase Games is once again opening new studios, this time around with Blizzard and Riot alum Greg Street (pictured) at the head.

NetEase Games announced today that it’s opening a new game development studio alongside industry veteran Greg Street. The new studio is called Fantastic Pixel Castle, and Street will serve as studio head. The studio’s remote-based employees are already working on its first game, a triple-A fantasy MMO codenamed “Ghost.”

Former WoW Lead Systems Designer and Executive Producer at Riot Games Greg Street has officially revealed Fantastic Pixel Castle, his new game studio working on an epic AAA fantasy MMORPG codenamed Ghost! While still very early in development, the studio will be hosting a livestream Q&A on November 8th at 2 pm EST to discuss their game pitch and development philosophy on Twitch.tv/FantasticPixelCastle. Better known to many players by his Blizzard handle Ghostcrawler, announced his intent to form a new entirely remote working games development studio last April. He quickly recruited other talented developers from his past studios, including longtime Blizzard PvP and Lead Combat Designer Brian Holinka.

A senior Google executive disputed suggestions that the company rushed to release its artificial intelligence-based chatbot Bard earlier this year to beat a similar offering from rival Microsoft Corp. Testifying in Google's defense at the Justice Department's antitrust trial against the search giant, Elizabeth Reid, a vice president of search, acknowledged that Bard gave “a wrong answer” during its public unveiling in February. But she rejected the contention by government lawyer David Dahlquist that Bard was “rushed” out after Microsoft announced it was integrating generative AI into its own Bing search engine.
