Forza is one of several major franchises that have put an increasing amount of emphasis on accessibility options, and it looks like the upcoming instalment in the racing sim series won’t be bucking that trend. Developer Turn 10 Studios has revealed the full list of accessibility features that will be available in Forza Motorsport at launch, and it’s quite a comprehensive one.
For starters, there will, of course, be a number of driving assists that players will be able to toggle, many of which will have several options within themselves as well, including for breaking, throttle, steering, gear shifting, traction control, stability control, and, of course, a driving line.
Meanwhile, several visual accessibility features are also confirmed, such as a colourblindness mode for the game’s UI, and a colourblind filter for all 3D rendered objects, as well as options to tweak contrast, text size and scaling, subtitles, and more. On the audio front, the game’s features include screen narration, audio descriptions, an in-race activity feed, speech-to-text and text-to-speech options, and a number of audio customization settings.
Several blind driving assists will also be included, which will provide different audio cues for a number of things, including steering, deceleration, turning and turn navigation, gear shifting, and more. Meanwhile, players will also be able to fully customize the game’s controls, or choose from multiple presets. You can view the game’s full list of accessibility features below.
Forza Motorsport launches on October 10 for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
