A massive 2.8GB patch for Final Fantasy XVI is now available to download on PlayStation 5. This comes before the game’s next DLC, The Rising Tide, arrives on April 18.
Although Patch 1.31 had been announced by Square Enix last month, the contents of the update were largely unknown. The full notes detail improvements to side quests, new settings in photo mode, and rebalancing of the title’s combat. Clive’s damage output has been massively increased, something that should change the feel of Final Fantasy XVI quite a bit.
