Amazon's excellent adaptation of the Fallout series for TV is available in its entirety now, and we loved it. However, not every Fallout fan is happy with how it seemingly rewrites what was thought to be established series lore, apparently retconning the ending of beloved black sheep, Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout Is Already Likely To Get Another Season

A second season of the Fallout show already appears to be in the works. This is before the first season has even premiered, with the first eight episodes set to hit Amazon Prime Video this Thursday.
As reported by Variety, the Californian Film Commission has offered multiple shows, including Fallout, a huge tax incentive to film in the state. It's noted in the report that this is typically offered to shows that are already in production, suggesting that a second season has already been confirmed, perhaps even in the early stages of planning.
On the website, "Fallout S2" is listed as being one of the productions that has accepted the tax incentive. It indicates that the production company, Kilter Films, has agreed to move its filming location to the state for the next season.
The Californian Film Commission has offered the Fallout team $25 million in return for switching its filming location, as no filming for the first season took place in the state. This is despite the show being set in Los Angeles, with the crew instead opting to film in different US locations. Production designer Howard Cummings previously told TheGamer that many of the wasteland shots were filmed in Namibia, including the scene in which our protagonist leaves her vault for the first time.
As for the state of season two, this renewal has not been formally confirmed just yet. However, with the crew making plans to film in California, it seems that they're confident that Fallout will be a mult-season journey. This is helped by early previews being pretty positive so far, although it'll have to stick the landing when the full show drops this Thursday.
While we don't know much about the overall story of Fallout right now, the crew and cast have given us a few details about how the show was put together behind the scenes. For starters, we know that some elements of the show had to be dropped because Bethesda wants them to appear in Fallout 5 instead and that we won't have to be familiar with the games to understand the show. On the more practical side, it was confirmed to us that the power armour used in the show is real, and wasn't very comfortable for the actors to wear.
