Crates are important items in that let you store your collected resources, but the Medium sized container may be the most important to get. This crate doesn't cost too much to make and doesn't sacrifice storage space for a smaller size. This item provides the perfect middle ground for those trying to organize their home and put away their most important gear.
The Medium Crate was once offered as a reward from the battle royale game mode. Along with the inventory updates for , players are allowed to keep whatever Medium Crates they earned during that event to place around their C.A.M.P. If you still have one of these containers, all you need to do is place it somewhere in your base to store items.
The mode no longer exists in, but you can still get a Medium Supply Crate by purchasing the blueprints for the item from Minerva's Big Sale shop that appears infrequently. Once per week, the character Minerva will offer her wares for sale in different locations across the wasteland. Occasionally, the plans for the Medium Crate will appear in her inventory for you to buy if you have enough money.
Minerva has a chance to show up in one of three spots — The Foundation, The Crater, or inside Fort Atlas.
While Minerva does show up every Monday through Wednesday, the Big Shop she sets up to sell the Medium Crate plans only appears from Thursday through Monday. You have the best chance to purchase the right blueprints during the days when the Big Shop is active. Those who have set up a custom world in won't be able to manipulate the times when Minerva offers items, so it is best to just wait for the right times.
When you obtain the recipe for the Medium Supply Crate, you'll quickly realize you only need 2 Steel and 2 Wood to craft one. You don't need other common resources like Concrete or Screws in to create one of these containers. A Medium Crate is longer than other storage items, but it takes up far less space than a Large Crate and is capable of holding more supplies than a Light Crate.
Those with the Scrounger or Pharma Farma perks have a chance to find additional items from a Medium Crate when they search inside one. Extra first aid Chems found from either perk will give you more opportunities to heal from battles against dangerous enemies in the wasteland. Anyone who gets a Medium Supply Crate in will be able to keep the additional items found in their storage for later in case they do not need them right away.

What is it Wendy Cope wrote? “Bloody Fallout 4 patches are like bloody buses. You wait half a decade for one, and as soon as that one breaks everything, Bethesda releases another just days later.” Yeah, pretty sure that’s it. Anyway, Fallout 4 will get another patch for the near decade-old game next week, presumably to help fix a lot of the problems its long-awaited “next-gen update” introduced two weeks ago.
