An avid Fallout 4 fan attempts to recreate the likeness of Breaking Bad's Walter White in-game and ends up with surprisingly good results. Though it may seem like a bad combination at first glance, it turns out the iconic drug dealer from the legendary AMC drama doesn't look all that out of place wearing a vault suit in the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout 4.
With the Fallout franchise's popularity at an all-time high thanks to the widespread success of the Amazon TV show, more and more players are messing around with Bethesda's famous role-playing games and showing off the player characters they've created. One individual, for instance, managed to make a lifelike rendition of Norm from the Fallout TV series in Fallout 4. Another fan, meanwhile, created an accurate replica of Lucy, one of the main protagonists in Prime Video's acclaimed live-action Fallout adaptation. This latest player character recreation, however, stands out like a sore thumb as it's based off of a different TV show entirely, which makes it all the more hilarious.
A Reddit user named FlaminHot_Depression posted an image gallery on the r/Fallout subreddit, showing off their rendition of teacher-turned-drug-lord Walter White in Fallout 4. They managed to make their player character share a very striking resemblance to the protagonist from the seminal AMC TV show, so much so to the point where it almost looks like an official crossover skin of some sort.
The first screenshot that FlaminHot_Depression shared was that of their Walter White replica standing in an RV wearing nothing but underwear, which is a direct callback to one of the meth-making scenes from the iconic first episode of Breaking Bad. The other photos the Redditor took show their Walter White-inspired player character donning a bright blue vault suit and standing menacingly throughout random locations in Fallout 4. In one of the pictures, FlaminHot_Depression even gave Walter White a nice little VaultTec-branded party hat to go alongside his outfit.
As one might expect, the responses to this post were filled with Redditors poking fun at FlaminHot_Depression's hilarious creation. The user Brewmaster92785, for instance, jokingly stated that this must be where «the blue mentats» came from, while fellow commenter MrPokketRokket expressed that the one thing missing from this Walter White recreation was «an unholy amount of Pre-War cash and Mentats stacked up somewhere.» Others in the comment section, meanwhile, responded by posting Fallout-ified versions of famous Breaking Bad quotes, from «Codsworth, we need to cook» and «My name is Piper Write, yo,» to «I'm not irradiated, Piper, I am the radiation» and «I am the one who VATS.» They may be silly jokes, but they're

The Elden Ring community was already rabid after a surprise Elden Ring DLC image revealing a fresh take on an old enemy wielding what looks like a new weapon type, and now FromSoftware producer Yasuhiro Kitao's gone and dropped another bit of teaser art that looks exactly like Bloodborne, to the point that I wasn't even sure if it was Elden Ring for a minute.
With renewed interest in the post-apocalyptic series thanks to the Fallout TV show, it was only a matter of time before we started seeing the Brotherhood of Steel in Epic's multiverse. With a new official teaser having just landed, it looks like that time is Fortnite Season 3.
If you’ve been wondering what Valve’s been working on as their next game after Counter-Strike 2, the answer may be at hand. A new enemy was just revealed for Elden Ring's upcoming DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, and it has an... interesting design, to say the least. Just revealed on social media, the new enemy unmistakably resembles a uterus, and fans can't get enough of it.
While 's main story focuses on a missing child and the fate of the Commonwealth, the huge RPG also offers a plethora of faction-based and side quests to keep the Sole Survivor busy. While some of those will be lighthearted, there are many that tackle the more serious aspects of a post-apocalyptic world. And then there are some that are just plain weird or even spine-chilling.
is known for having a unique and charming world with as many unanswered questions as answered ones. Conspiracies are ingrained into the franchise's DNA as much as the whimsical nature of the world is, and the wild setting of means that its theories can be just as outlandish. Bethesda has been shrewd in giving its fan community many answers, letting the mystery build over time from entry to entry.
In 2022, fans of the 1990s adventure series Monkey Island finally got another game with Return to Monkey Island, which notably marked creator Ron Gilbert's first time directing a Monkey Island project in 30 years. Now, it looks like Gilbert has another project up his sleeve that's due out just two (or maybe three) years later.
In the Fallout TV series, it's revealed that Vault-Tec nuked the iconic Shady Sands. It's been incredibly controversial with fans, but they're not alone. Designer John Deiley, who took it from a small innocuous settlement in the first game to the thriving NCR capital of Fallout 2, also isn't happy with the decision.
One of the biggest draws of Vecna: Eve of Ruin, the final campaign in the decade-long run of 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons, is the fact that you can play as a high-level character. Most D&D campaigns end around level 10. Eve of Ruin starts there, and then proceeds to go up to level 20, the game’s cap. That means players will begin the story with extremely powerful, potentially game-breaking spells and abilities. So how did the designers at Wizards of the Coast manage to keep characters in line, preventing them from blowing up the entire narrative from the jump? The answer is very, very carefully.
Fallout fans have widely praised the television show on Amazon Prime, and one Fallout 4 player in particular has chosen to recreate Norm MacLean as the Sole Survivor. Though the show sparked some initial controversy in the Fallout community due to a misunderstanding about how it fits into the timeline after Fallout: New Vegas, it has ultimately been embraced by a majority of fans – and perhaps most importantly – it brought a lot of new players to Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and even the older titles.
