This particular writer is a big fan of Cameron’s sci-fi series, so the idea of a fully explorable slice of Pandora is an exciting proposition. There are of course worries from some that this could be a Far Cry game with an Avatar skin — something we discussed in our Avatar preview — but there’s no doubt that Ubisoft Massive has crafted this open world with love and care for the source material.
What about you though? Are you excited to take a trip to Pandora on December 7th? Or is this just another Ubisoft open-world to you? Let us know in the comments below.
Swearing an oath of loyalty to PlayStation with the arrival of the PS4, our resident video-maker and Irn-Bru loving Scot prides himself as an expert in modern-day Sony. However, eight playthroughs of The Last Of Us later, and no Platinum to show for it, will forever be his greatest shame.
I wasn't sure at first but admittedly I'm very interested in this game now. I loved Pandora in the movies and the prospect of being able to explore it on foot in first person is appealing to me.
Thanks for the comprehensive video! I’m pretty curious about this but have been unsure of what exactly it is.
this game haha… nobody seems to REALLY care about avatar yet it grosses billions of dollars at the box office each and every time. a strange property no doubt but certainly not something that will be remembered or deemed a classic in any sense. this game will bomb. based on the lack of marketing, ubisoft likely feels the same way. you don't release a game in december if you have high hopes for it.
Can’t wait for this game. Can’t believe it’s nearly here
