Season 5 is officially out now, and the asymmetrical multiplayer game will finally be getting crossplay functionality alongside a variety of new items.
The new season of the game is live now for players to check out, and most notably includes two new raiders in the form of Zamasu and Goku Black. New survivor skins for Future Mai, Puar, and Jaco are also available. Alongside the cosmetic additions, new dragon tiers have also been added to the game.
Of course, one of the most notable additions in the new season is the inclusion of crossplay functionality into the game, allowing fans across any platform to jump in and play together. A new in-game friend feature has also been added, making it easier for friends to find each other and match up for a game.
Check out a trailer for Season 5 of Dragon Ball: The Breakers below:
In Dragon Ball: The Breakers, players take on the role of either a “Survivor” or a “Raider.” Survivors — normal citizens who don’t have any superpowers whatsoever — are sucked through a portal and into a “Temporal Seam,” where matches take place.
There, they face off against the Raider, who will be played by some of the most infamous characters in all of Dragon Ball history, including Cell, Frieza, and Buu. The goal for the Raider is to defeat all seven of the Survivors, while the Survivors aim to escape by activating the “Super Time Machine.”
