Dimension 20 returns with an adventure starring a family of stoats

Apple launched the iPhone 15 Pro model last year with an all-new A17 Pro chip. The chip possesses phenomenal processing power that allows it to run high-end games like Resident Evil Village on an external monitor. The company is working with game developers to bring popular titles to the platform to take better advantage of the A17 Pro chip. It appears that Samsung has also stepped into the mobile gaming category with some exclusive titles underway.

Exploration adventure game Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure will leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on November 9, followed by Switch at a later date for $24.99 / £20.99. The game can also be enjoyed for free with someone who already owns the game via the “Friends’ Pass.”

The road of game development can be a weird one, with periods of regular news being followed by long bouts of silence plus varying levels of access to early builds.  Open alphas, closed alphas, Early Access, and various forms of testing get the game into players’ hands while providing important feedback, but the gathered information doesn’t do much good if there’s no time to integrate it properly.  In the case of Foundry its alpha period went well enough the game was picked up by a publisher, leading to a long period of silence after the Steam demo got pulled last November while the entire game received a full overhaul.  Now it’s back with a huge number of changes, available for the duration of the Steam Next Fest before it disappears again.

Social media platform X is partnering with Paris Hilton and her digital ad agency 11:11 Media as it seeks new revenue and to redefine the platform formerly known as Twitter. X will work with Hilton to create original video content on fashion, beauty, travel and other topics, the company announced Monday. Hilton, an American media personality and socialite, will also help promote the launch of X's new products and services.
