After the latest batch of set photos involving Sabretooth, many fans have been left asking whether Wade Wilson will end up killing the Fox Marvel universe characters in the film. Is Deadpool 3 bringing an infamous comic book storyline to life? Will Deadpool kill off Sabretooth? Here’s all you need to know.
Following the Disney-Fox merger, a rumor that originated in 2020 stated that Ryan Reynolds pitched a “Deadpool Kills the Fox Universe” movie to help transition his character into the main MCU.
The idea is based on Cullen Bunn’s 2012 comic book series, “Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe,” and it makes sense for Deadpool to at least kill off the parts of the Fox X-Men universe that didn’t work in the past. Furthermore, it also allows him to have a fresh start in the MCU, by detaching his connections with the old Fox universe.
Now after seeing Deadpool holding Sabretooth’s decapitated head in the recent set photos, many fans believe that Deadpool might kill off many past Fox Marvel heroes and villains. After all, characters like Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, the old leading cast of X-Men (2000), and several others are confirmed and rumored to appear in Deadpool 3.
Until now, the rumored storyline of Deadpool 3 stated that it will start with the TVA recruiting heroes like Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine from the Multiverse to go up against Kang in the future. But, along the way, Deadpool (a prisoner at the TVA) will team up with Wolverine and go on a multiversal journey.
Since the two were seen battling Sabretooth in recently leaked images, it’s possible that they’d encounter multiple Fox characters from the past (or their variants) and possibly kill them off. That way, Deadpool 3 could bring the idea of “Deadpool kills the Fox Universe” to life.
Looking at the leaked images, we can deduce that a Deadpool vs. Wolverine battle will be interrupted by Sabretooth. Then, the two heroes will battle the X-Men villain and one of them will sever his head.
We’ll find out what happens for real when Deadpool 3 arrives on July 26, 2024.

Miller Ross has shared some new tidbits about Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, but we’re not sure you’ll be as excited about them as he is.
Rocksteady Studios has confirmed that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which has been known to be a live-service multiplayer shooter for some time, will receive an offline story mode sometime next year after its February launch.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been the subject of plenty of complaints and controversy over its live-service focus, and while recent PR hasn’t really focused on this aspect of the game, it doesn’t mean any of that stuff has actually gone anywhere. Case in point, early on it was revealed that Suicide Squad will be an always-online game, and it seems that probably hasn’t changed… at least at launch.
Yesterday, blockbuster star Ryan Reynolds responded to the most recent set photos that surfaced online by releasing edited versions of behind-the-scenes photos. One of Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 “leak” photos hilariously featured the Predator on the set of the Marvel Studios movie with Reynolds’ titular anti-hero and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has shown some signs of promise with its recent gameplay showing, but by and large, the game has been met with its fair share of skepticism, something that its always-online requirements have contributed to heavily. As it turns out though, those who want to play the game offline will have that option- albeit with a post-launch update.
