It’s been over seven years since the release of Stardew Valley,and its fan base is as active as ever. This time, Stardew Valley fans have organized to ask for more inclusive pronoun options in the beloved farming sim. On Sept. 29, Canadian content creator Atmos Fierce started an online petition asking the game’s creator, Eric Barone, to add additional pronoun options as part of the upcoming 1.6 update. Since then, the petition has received over 3,000 signatures and revived a long-running conversation around how the game interacts with its queer fan base.

It’s official — you’ll soon be able to experience the music of Stardew Valley in live orchestral form, as a real-life concert tour is set to kick off next year across the globe.

As of update 1.5 for, there are 25 Secret Notes, collectibles that can give you directions to secret locations, gifts certain characters would Love, or solutions to puzzles. To start finding Secret Notes in, you need to obtain a Magnifying Glass, which can only be done during certain times of day during the winter. Then, you will be able to find various notes from cutting weeds, defeating monsters, and a variety of other tasks.

The upcoming Stardew Valley 1.6 update will add one of the best features I've ever seen for the farming sim - dogs and cats wearing hats.
