Cool Sculpture Exhibit Makes Pokemon Out of Upcycled Waste

A Pokemon fan online has shared images from an awesome sculpture exhibit, which recreates several different Pokemon using only upcycled waste. The creativity of the Pokemon community seemingly knows no bounds, and designs like these prove why that's still the case.
Because Pokemon has almost three decades of history at this point, there are plenty of examples of fan art for just about every single Pokemon. Every player has their own favorites, and it's cool to see what the creative community is able to frequently come up with. However, because Pokemon remains such a staple of pop culture, it can take something extremely special in order to stand out from the sea of fan art. Just recently, a Pokemon fan created an impressive Psyduck birthday cake, which is a great way to show how fans are bringing the franchise into their real lives in unique ways.
Redditor RijaTex shared photos from the amazing Pokemon exhibit in Tokyo. The exhibit showcases several designs from the franchise using upcycled waste. The creativity is off the charts here, as household items are used to recreate some of the franchise's most iconic Pokemon. It's a great way to show that many creatives are capable of producing incredible pieces using just about anything, without necessarily needing the best tools to show what they can do.
Particular highlights include Lugia, one of the best legendary Pokemon, recreated almost entirely using old Wii components, including multiple nunchucks and a classic racing wheel. There's also a Psyduck with an old flipper for a beak, and a Pansage with Crocs for ears. It's hilarious to see the Pokemon recreated like this, and it's a credit to the artist that it's still clear exactly what they're trying to depict.
The longevity of the Pokemon franchise is extremely impressive and should be commended. It seems as though the series is always planning for the future, with several releases always in development at any given time. Fans are very excited about the upcoming title, Pokemon Legends: Z-A, which will see the reintroduction of the popular Mega Evolution mechanic. As well as this, Pokemon GO is planning for the next ten years of content at the moment, so it's clear that it isn't going anywhere. As long as these games remain as immensely popular as they currently are, the gaming community should expect plenty more amazing fan creations like this sculpture exhibition well into the future.

Japanese police arrest suspect making ‘constant threats’ toward Nintendo
