Circle to Search is one of the best features I have seen on the Galaxy S24 and Pixel 8 series. It is one of the features that you never really know you need until it finally arrives on your phone, and the good news is that it is now rolling out to a host of older Pixel devices, including the freshly discontinued Pixel 6a, the Pixel 6, and the Pixel 7a. In addition, the Galaxy S23 series and all the other Samsung devices due for the One UI 6.1 update are also getting this feature.
Circle to Search is finally expanding to more devices and will become even more powerful in the future
Google has announced that the Circle to Search feature is now rolling out to Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, and Pixel 7a. The company has also made a point that the feature will come out on the Pixel Tablet and the Pixel Fold, but at the time, the company has not shared a release date with us.

Of all the AI features that have come out lately, Circle to Search remains my favorite. It allows you to search for whatever you want on your screen effectively, and the best thing is that it actually gives you really good results. That's not all; the feature will become even more powerful. The company has mentioned that it will soon let you translate on-screen content, which is going to be a great feature for those who don't speak the language.
Aside from Pixel phones, Circle to Search will also be available on all the supported Samsung devices that have been waiting for the update. With the One UI 6.1 update, the feature will be available on the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, and Tap S9 series. The feature might also come to the Galaxy S22 series at some point, but we are not sure if that is going to happen.
Needless to say, Google is definitely looking into ways to make the Circle to Search feature even more accessible and powerful, and I am all for it. AI is really going to be at the center of smartphones, and I hope other OEMs start implementing these features, too, especially on their older devices that have capable hardware. Whether that happens or not is still something that we are going to wait and see, but I am certainly looking forward to it.
