Blue Protocol for PS5, Xbox Series launches this winter in Japan

D3 Publisher will release Earth Defense Force 6 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in spring 2024, followed by Epic Games Store shortly after, the company announced.

PS Plus Premium members are getting a neat extra perk for their subscription. Sony announced on PlayStation Blog that cloud streaming is coming for select PS5 titles later this month.

Earlier this year, Sony promised they would launch PS5 cloud streaming for PlayStation Plus Premium members sometime this year, and now they’ve revealed the new feature will be arriving this month. Streaming games to PS4 or PC won’t be supported yet, so some may question the utility, but it will allow you to keep SDD space clear while testing out PS Plus titles. The streaming tech also sounds fairly advanced, allowing you to play at up to 4K and 60fps with HDR. Here’s a rundown of key features…

Two months after PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers began receiving invites to a PlayStation 5 cloud streaming beta, Sony has announced the feature will be getting its full launch on on 23rd October in Europe and 30th October in the US.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced plans to launch cloud streaming for PlayStation 5 this month.

PlayStation 5 cloud streaming for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will launch on October 17 in Japan, October 23 in Europe, and October 30 in North America, allowing users to play PlayStation 5 games without having to download them, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced.

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Dimps will release a major free update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on October 12, followed by new downloadable content and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions in 2024, the companies announced.

SPYxANYA: Operation Memories will launch for Switch on December 21, 2023 in Japan, followed by PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in 2024, publisher Bandai Namco and developer Groove Box Japan announced. The PlayStation 5 and Switch versions will be available both physically and digitally, while the PlayStation 4 version will be digital-only.

There’s never any shortage of interest in what Sony has planned for the PC gaming space, and if recent leaks are to be believed, the next PlayStation-exclusive title the company intends to bring to PC is Horizon Forbidden West, with a Complete Edition allegedly being prepared for release on PS5 and PC, bunding both the game game and its expansion, Burning Shores, together. The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on February 1, 2024 in Japan for 6,980 yen, publisher FuRyu and developer Cattle Clal announced.
