Baldur's Gate 3 will wipe your Early Access saves, but the devs say you should delete them yourself

Roguelite first-person shooter Battle Shapers will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on October 3, developer Metric Empire announced.

If you’ve been interested in checking out something new in the Indie MMO scene, then it may behoove you to know that Sojo, a solo indie MMO that has recently made its debut on Steam in Early Access.

As Wayfinder heads into Early Access today after a few delays, the servers will likely see an influx of players, as new Wayfinders join the fight to push back the Gloom. Last weekend press were invited to take part in testing out the game ahead of the Early Access release. We were given access to every character that will be available at the launch of Early Access, alongside each of the craftable weapons, and a smattering of Echoes and Artifacts to choose from to test out the game at “max level”. What transpired after being given max level characters left me both excited and concerned for the Early Access launch. Let’s get into why.

Wayfinder is now officially in early access on PC and PlayStation after a previous delay. The Airship Syndicate team shared a letter to the community today, as the studio’s first project becomes available to a wider audience.

It’s August and the only game I’ve consistently played is Baldur’s Gate 3. I can’t stop thinking about progressing in my multiple campaigns, unraveling new secrets and areas, and even determining which character best suits a specific conversation. And as someone who’s unsuccessfully tried numerous times to play tabletop D&D because of a lack of interest, I was initially apprehensive about playing the video game version. Thankfully I’ve never been more wrong.

There's been a lot of chatter in the last few weeks about whether you should have Baldur's Gate 3's karmic dice option turned on or off. It's something that's turned on by default, intended to help level the playing field a bit and throw a few good rolls your way when things are looking very much bad and vice versa. Some players claimed that it was actively gimping their high-end gameplay though, with enemies receiving the same treatment with fudged dice rolls—dealing massive damage and causing survivability issues all round. Despite Larian saying it was an early access issue that would be fixed in the full release, there's still been tons of players going to bat for both sides of the argument.

The cyberpunk future is never going to be a nice place.  Life is cheap, corporations dominate all, and the sky is blotted out by spires insulating the rich from those living in the gutters.  The transhumanism bit is always a nice perk, of course, but enhanced senses and strength don’t really make up for what’s been lost, especially when upgrades are pricey and money is scarce.  Cyberpunk is a techno-nightmare, and every year its horrors are a little less far-fetched.  Even so, Johnny Turbo’s chainsaw-leg goes a long way towards making that future at least a little bit attractive.

Sengoku Dynasty, the open-world survival crafting simulation RPG set in the Sengoku period of Japan, is now available in Early Access via Steam.
