After Jonathan Majors was let go as Kang the Conqueror, Avengers 5 also reportedly dropped its “The Kang Dynasty” title. Even though Kang can still be recast, leaving the title behind could mean that Kang will not be the main villain of Avengers 5 and 6 moving forward. In that case, the following list reveals the Marvel villains who could replace Kang to become The Multiverse Saga’s big bad.
A report from Variety earlier this year suggested that Marvel considered replacing Kang with Doctor Doom after Jonathan Majors was charged with assault and harassment. With the title of Avengers 5 being dropped, and Doctor Doom rumored to cameo in Fantastic Four, this conversation could certainly be picked up again.
After all, he was the main villain of Marvel’s second Secret Wars comic book event written by Jonathan Hickman in 2015. So, he could go on to be the villain of Avengers 5 with Jonathan Majors’ Kang being out of the picture. It’ll also be interesting to see if Cillian Murphy gets cast for the role.
The Beyonder will be the main villain of Secret Wars and a Kang variant.
Before Majors was let go, familiar scooper MyTimeToShineHello tweeted that Avengers: Secret Wars will feature The Beyonder as its main villain. But the big twist will be that the MCU would turn a version of Kang (Kang Prime) into The Beyonder.
However, since Kang might not return, the MCU could set up a separate comic-accurate version of The Beyonder with Avengers 5. He could then be revealed as the main antagonist for Avengers: Secret Wars. This would hold precedence because The Beyonder was also the primary villain in the comic book Secret Wars event in 1984.
Prior rumors have suggested that MCU’s Fantastic Four movie is set to bring Galactus into the mix. With the recent change in the larger MCU narrative, Galactus could be turned into the main villain for Avengers 5 or Avengers 6. After all, he poses a grave danger to the entire universe (and perhaps the multiverse) with his planet-eating potential.
Following up on the setup from The Eternals, Celestials such as Arishem and a few others could be turned into Saga-ending villains for the MCU. But if Kang is to be replaced, one of the three aforementioned Marvel villains will likely be prioritized.

There are few things on TV that feel as good as meeting a new Doctor and just knowing they’ll be terrific. Doctor Who’s 21st-century run has had plenty of ups and downs thus far, but casting the titular role has never been one of them. Ncuti Gatwa, the Fifteenth Doctor, is no different: immediately charming, charismatic, and odd. In his first full adventure, “The Church on Ruby Road,” Gatwa displays shades of Doctors who’ve come before while putting his own strong stamp on the role; simultaneously welcoming and enigmatic, he’s the kind of person you’d happily follow anywhere but is clearly not telling you everything.

Coming into 2023, many gamers expected that Starfield, the new IP from Bethesda, would be on the tongues of many within the community for some time once it came out. After all, Bethesda was one of the best game developers/publishers in the world, and that’s not an exaggeration. They’ve crafted incredible RPGs and worlds, and they spent about eight years making their newest title. Many expected it to be the “Game of the Year frontrunner” upon launch and showcase just how grand Bethesda was at making new ideas and concepts. But it didn’t turn out that way, and gamers have had the title “on their tongues” for different reasons.
