Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Gets New Story Trailer During State of Play

It’s interesting how much information is coming out about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in recent weeks, given that the title won’t launch until early next year. It’s possible that Square Enix doesn’t want you to forget about the game and thus build up the hype for many months until it’s at a “fever pitch.” Or they just think that right now is the best time to do the reveals! Either way works in the minds of gamers. The good news is that today was one of those “reveal days” because plenty of information was dropped about the title.

Nintendo will support the Nintendo Switch until at least March 2024, and the console will receive new games until March 2025.

I recently had the opportunity to check out the first episode of Shangri-La Frontier, a new anime about a VRMMORPG. Now, this genre in particular has gotten a bit saturated in recent years due to the success of Sword Art Online, Log Horizon, and even Ready Player One. However, the art style of the trailer piqued my interest, and the press release indicated SLF would have a bit more of a focus on world-building and game mechanics.

It was hinted at in the game's latest trailer, but now it's been confirmed through an official press release: Persona 3 Reload will feature all-new story scenes and additional character interactions. Overall, the remake will obviously stick to the original plot, but it sounds like Atlus has taken this opportunity to expand upon all sorts of stuff, such as Strega — the antagonist group.

The Pokemon Company had its first big release of 2023 via the launch of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, known as “The Teal Mask.” The content is the first part of the “Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero” content that will continue via the second part, called “The Indigo Disk.” The first part of the DLC took players to a new land full of Pokemon and mysteries. However, despite the content’s seemingly successful launch, the title is already going to get an update to fix issues. This was revealed by the game’s Japanese Twitter account, and they highlighted some of the things that would be fixed.

Piranha Games has announced a new standalone game in the MechWarrior franchise. Titled MechWarrior 5: Clans, the game is slated for release on PC, Xbox and PlayStation some time in 2024. Check out the teaser trailer below.
