ASUS is finally going to unveil its flagship and fastest GeForce RTX 40 GPU, the ROG MATRIX GeForce RTX 4090, next week.
For a background check, the ROG MATRIX lineup holds immense significance amongst ASUS lovers, and it involves a bit of a nostalgic factor as well. The MATRIX model is indeed getting a revival, and that too with the flagship Ada Lovelace GPU. The company claims that the ROG MATRIX GeForce RTX 4090 is the most "premium" product they have ever created, and in no doubt is this claim false since the features that the GPU brings onboard are cutting-edge and something that we have never seen in the industry.
Diving into the specifications, the ASUS ROG MATRIX GeForce RTX 4090 comes with an elegant metal shroud that is cooled by a 360mm AIO. The GPU doesn't include any fan on the chassis, which indicates that liquid cooling will be utilised to keep this "beast" under control. Moreover, the 360mm AIO comes with ASUS's highest-end ROG MF-12S ARGB series fans, which are known to provide exceptional performance in the industry. To conclude, the ROG MATRIX is well-equipped in the thermal department, and this is because the GPU isn't an "aesthetic" product, rather it brings significant uplifts, which we will discuss later on.
No reason to beat around the bush: the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 has the highest boost clocks of any RTX 4090 on the planet. Featuring a custom-engineered coldplate that captures heat not only from the RTX 4090 GPU die, but also the VRMs and memory chips, this card has even more headroom to push its clocks higher, for longer, allowing us to bin only the absolute best dies for this showpiece graphics card. In addition, the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 features an ROG first: liquid metal thermal compound on a graphics card.
The ASUS ROG MATRIX GeForce RTX 4090 is a dream for every gamer, and the driving reason behind this is that results have revealed that the GPU is the fastest in the market up till now. Such a product isn't left alone by overclockers, who have successfully surpassed the 4 GHz barrier with it, along with achieving the highest 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme score. Such stats aren't something to take lightly, and this is why the release has gained immense interest from the community.
ASUS has unveiled the release date, all set for September 19th, and is ready to break industry records. However, with such "goodies" comes high pricing as well, & this in no way is an ordinary GPU, hence it will come with a premium price tag. One can expect the card to sit above the USD $2000 mark.
