Artist Draws All Versions of Raiden Mei in Every HoYoverse Game

In its latest Special Program for Genshin Impact, miHoYo Games confirmed that the free-to-play action RPG’s next update would arrive on March 13th. Version 4.5, “Blades Weaving Betwixt Brocade”, sees players venturing to Mondstadt to help the Knights of Favonius in a new seasonal event. Check out the trailer below.

On top of teasing Chiori and its upcoming events, Genshin Impact has also revealed a new type of banner for Version 4.5 that will use a Chronicled Path, allowing players to pull for a designated character or weapon. Though rumors of a third banner type have long been whispered in the Genshin Impact community, the official reveal promises to bring players a generous way to obtain older characters such as Albedo or Eula, guarantee standard characters such as Jean or Diluc, and even pull for previously-unobtainable weapons such as Beacon of the Reed Sea and Hunter's Path.

You can already redeem the 4.5 livestream codes and claim the respective rewards, following the broadcast of the special event. As a live-service game, the popular RPG developed by HoYoverse frequently gets new patches that add more content, including new playable characters, areas, events, quests, and more. The patches also tend to bring forth fixes to bugs and quality-of-life updates. Before every update goes live, however, the developer hosts a livestream, which is dedicated to showcasing a large portion of the new additions. Chiori’s leaked kit in 4.5, for instance, should be confirmed during the event.
