There's a secret way to kill the most hated character, despite their technical immortality. Most characters, even some of the deadliest bosses, are mortal in . But there's one particular villain who, despite the player's best efforts to get rid of them, keeps popping back up to ruin their life. They greatly overstay their welcome, and then some. There's even a mechanic that technically prevents them from taking damage, even if it doesn't specifically preclude them from dying.
But as with almost everyquest in , there's a clever workaround to get rid of them once and for all. After all, damage isn't the only way to kill someone in the Forgotten Realms. With a little cleverness and a lot of preparation, it's fairly easy to send the biggest villain in packing. Some players may even have most of the tools they need already. However, unless it's timed properly and executed perfectly, it can lead to far more trouble than it's worth.
Although it's normally not possible, Reddit user Finnick00 has discovered a way to kill Mizora permanently without breaking Wyll's pact. There's a clause in Wyll's pact that guarantees Mizora's protection. It's the reason he and the party are compelled to save Mizora at Moonrise Towers in Act Two. As a result, neither he nor anyone he's allied with is allowed to bring her harm. If they do, Wyll's pact will be broken immediately, he'll be carted off to the Hells, and his father, Duke Ulder Ravengard, will die.
Of course, it's entirely possible to attack Mizora, but it won't do any good. She has a permanent status effect called "," which prevents her from taking damage. Once she's attacked, she'll zip off to the Hells and simply return after a minute or so, slightly miffed but none the worse for wear. The only official way to kill her in-game is to activate the Mind Flayer pod she's trapped inside during Act Two, but even that's not the best idea. It'll earn everyone's disapproval, and Wyll will no longer be available as a playable companion.
So, players are kind of stuck with Mizora unless they use this clever loophole. As it turns out, reducing any ability score to zero kills a character, just as well as if it were their HP. Stacking several ability point-draining abilities can kill Mizora easily, and doing so doesn't register as a violation of Wyll's pact. Players will need a wizard in their party with the Illithid power Ability Drain, a cleric or druid with the spell, and a party member who has accepted the Astral-Touched Tadpole in and taken the ability Absorb Intellect.
Gale can take Ability Drain if he's been convinced to take Illithid Powers. Shadowheart, Halsin, or Jaheira can learn beginning at level 9.
From there, it's as simple as having the wizard cast any spell
