Xbox announced the date of its upcoming June showcase and teased a special deep-dive to reveal a new installment of a “beloved franchise.” This announcement has led to a whirlwind of speculation among players, who are waiting for more information about which game Xbox will unveil during its next showcase.
In the past few years, Microsoft has been acquiring a large variety of studios. From Sea of Thieves developer Rare to Minecraft’s Mojang and Bethesda, Xbox now owns some of the most prominent game studios. On top of unveiling the upcoming games coming out on Xbox, this Xbox Games Showcase will be immediately followed by another livestream focusing on the new installment of a popular gaming franchise. This showcase will be the first one to feature games from Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda, and Xbox Game Studios, on top of the games from Xbox’s third-party partners.
