As it does twice per month, Microsoft is removing another batch of titles from the Xbox Game Pass library. There are seven games getting dumped on September 30 across console, PC, and the cloud.
These include Outriders, Prodeus, Weird West, Moonscars, Last Call BBS, Despot's Game, and Beacon Pines. The good news is that while these games are headed out soon, anyone who wants to keep playing them can purchase them for 20% off their normal price.

Now Playing: Lies of P Review
While these games are going away, Game Pass recently added the Souls-like Pinocchio game, Lies of P (read our Lies of P review here), while the battle royale game Party Animals arrives on September 20. Payday 3 comes to Game Pass on September 21, while Gotham Knights hits the service on October 3.
This latest wave of removals follows an earlier dump of nine games from the catalog on September 15, bringing the total number of removals in September to 16. A total of seven games have been announced for Game Pass in September 2023, for a net loss of nine games during the month if everything holds. September was never expected to be massive for Game Pass on a volume basis, though, as Microsoft released its biggest Game Pass title this year, Starfield, this month.
There might be some surprises left for the remainder of September, however, as Microsoft has told fans to expect Game Pass announcements at its Tokyo Game Show event on September 21.
In other news, Xbox Game Pass Core just launched with a lineup of 36 titles. Microsoft will add more games to the catalog 2-3 times per year, but no new additions have been announced yet.

The Xbox Game Pass subscription service is rather popular. It’s a subscription service that allows players to gain access to a wide collection of video games for a monthly fee. It’s certainly one of the must-have services if you’re on the latest-generation Xbox Series X/S consoles. With this subscription service, you can access all of Microsoft’s first-party video game titles that launch. This is also an excellent saving if you’re keen on some of their big title releases, like last month’s Starfield from the folks over at Bethesda.
