The very first GTA 6 trailer will debut tomorrow December 5th and you can watch its premiere live here.
Some days ago, developer Rockstar announced that GTA 6 trailer 1 would drop later this week. Some speculated that the developer would reveal the game during this week's Game Awards 2023 event, but Rockstar has taken a different approach. As has become common with posts from Rockstar, the trailer announcement has been seen by nearly 154 million X users and has harvested over 1.9 million likes since December 1 - quite the stats for a mere announcement of a trailer.
Aside from the announcement image of the trailer, which features Miami-setting palm trees, nothing has been officially revealed just yet about the next GTA installment. As for the length of the trailer - the YouTube stream for the trailer has revealed that the trailer is 91 seconds in length. That's a little over 1 and a half minutes of GTA joy for you right here. You can watch the first trailer for GTA 6 below as soon as it goes live tomorrow at 9 AM ET.
After Rockstar announced the debut of the game's first trailer last week, several video leaks surfaced that turned out to be fake. Interestingly enough, however, a new short GTA 6 leak has shown roughly 6 seconds of off-camera gameplay of the game, showing the cityscape as well as Vice City's Skyscrapers. The footage shown appears to match the footage that leaked back in September of last year.
In addition to this short video, additional details from the game might also been leaked through a friend of the son of the current head of development and co-studio head at Rockstar North, Aaron Garbut. According to this freshly leaked info, GTA 6 will feature 3 major cities and 4 sub-cities, and 70% of the in-game buildings are said to be accessible. The leak also mentions a release date in the fall of 2024. Of course, this information has to be taken with a fair pinch of salt for now, but hopefully, we'll know more about GTA 6 following tomorrow's trailer. We'll update this article as soon as more information comes.

The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer is finally out! After nearly a decade of waiting, Rockstar Games has finally released the GTA 6 trailer albeit in a manner it wouldn't have liked. On November 8, the Take-Two Interactive-owned publisher announced that the GTA 6 trailer would be released in early December. And just a few days ago, Rockstar Games set the GTA 6 trailer release date as December 5, 6:00 AM PT. To the company's dismay, the trailer was leaked online before Rockstar could release it. The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI is here, finally taking the covers off of Rockstar Games' ambitious open world title. After years of leaks, rumours and speculation, we now finally have concrete official details about GTA 6, its world, characters, and tone. The trailer itself was published hastily ahead of schedule after it was leaked on X on Tuesday. Instead of waiting and putting out the reveal Wednesday at 9am ET (7:30pm IST) — as Rockstar initially planned, the studio released the trailer early Wednesday morning. “Our trailer has leaked so please watch the real thing on YouTube,” the publisher said in its post on X.
The wait is finally over, and perhaps a little prematurely so. Rockstar Games, the publisher of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series, promised that they will release the first trailer of GTA 6 today, at 9 AM ET (7:30 PM IST). However, the trailer was leaked online a few hours ago. Once the news broke, Rockstar Games also released the game officially, much ahead of the schedule. The trailer, even when it was dropped unexpectedly, confirms many small details we have seen over the past year, such as the first female protagonist Lucia, and the Vice City setting. Additionally, the trailer also reveals the launch date, or more like the launch year of the game as well.
