Developer Creative Assembly has released a new deep dive video for upcoming strategy game Total War: PHARAOH, this time around focusing on the city states of Canaan. Check out the deep dive about the Canaanite factions below.
The deep dive talks about two of the playable Canaanite warlords: Isru the ravager and Bay the schemer. As their titles would imply, the two warlords play in different ways, with one featuring aggression and brute strength, while the other features a clandestine play style that revolves around spycraft.
The Canaanite faction will also feature a different take on the military than the Egyptian factions, since it needs to counter its opponents’ heavy armour and speed. The Canaanite military will have an emphasis on adaptability during combat, as well as medium-armoured forces.
For more details about how the factions will play out in the upcoming game, check out the deep dive for the Egyptian factions released earlier this month. While you’re at it, take a look at how dynamic weather systems and other gameplay features will affect the battlefield in Total War: PHARAOH.
Total War: PHARAOH is slated for release on PC in October this year.
