CD Projekt is a development company that creates video games like The Witcher and also Cyberpunk 2077. This company has about two thirds of its team are working on the Witcher series, getting the next game ready to go. Thanks to VGC we’re finding out that the team working on the game has reached over 400 developers.

Two thirds of CD Projekt are now working on the next game in the Witcher series, codenamed Polaris.

Binary Haze Interactive’s Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, a follow-up to the acclaimed Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, is now available in Steam Early Access. Developed by Adglobe and Live Wire, it focuses on Lilac, an Attuner in the Land of Fumes who must save the Homunculi driven to madness due to the Rain of Death.

Here’s one for all you connoisseurs of the horrific consequences of your own actions. Regicide-em-up visual novel Slay the Princess’ new update brings with it new dialogue and music, fleshing out the game with additional choices, expanded scenes, and orchestral renditions of some choice tracks. The new content takes the form of new animations and “more than 3,000 words of additional and restructured dialogue choices and conversations.” That is easily enough words to tell the Stanley Parable-esque narrator that you’re on to him and whatever mind games he’s playing, with enough left over for the other voices in your head to make you doubt your own morality with alarming frequency.

The Alone in the Dark franchise is no stranger to attempted reboots and revivals, and we’ve got another one of those on our hands now. Developer Pieces Interactive and publisher THQ Nordic’s Alone in the Dark, an expanded reimagining of the series’ first instalment, is out now for PC and consoles. Grasshopper has today announced the remaster of PS3 title Shadows Of The Damned it has in development is officially titled Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered. It doesn't have a release date and no platforms have been confirmed yet, but the game will be playable at PAX East next week.

A Figma of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Link is now available for pre-order. Link has been featured in the Japanese line of action figures in the past, with a Figma of him from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword being released in 2022.

Baldur’s Gate 3 developer Larian has issued hotfix 22 across PC, PlayStation 5, Mac, and, crucially, Xbox, bringing players on Microsoft’s console up to date.

Crypt of the NecroDancer downloadable content “SYNCHRONY” has left Early Access and is now available for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam and GOG for $6.99 alongside the game’s latest update, developer Brace Yourself Games announced. It is unclear whether an Xbox One release is planned.
