Valve has launched Steam‘s Spring Sale.
Running until March 21 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 5pm GMT, the promotion includes discounts on thousands of games, according to the company.

Running until March 28, featured discounts include EA Sports FC 24 for $13.99 / £11.99 / €13.99 (80% off) and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown for $29.99 / £26.99 / €29.99 (40% off), while Skull and Bones will reportedly be discounted to $44.99 / £37.49 / €44.99 (25% off) later this week.
Epic has also boosted its Rewards programme from its standard rate of 5% to 10% for the duration of its Spring Sale.
A record 14,535 games were released on Steam in 2023, up roughly 2,000 from the previous year’s count, according to tracking site SteamDB. So far this year, 3,278 games have been released on the digital distribution platform.
Two years after Steam Deck launched, over 14,000 games are now compatible with Valve’s handheld.
Of these games, over 4,600 have been ‘Verified’ by Valve, meaning they work “great on Steam Deck, right out of the box”, while over 9,400 are deemed to be ‘Playable’, meaning they “may require some manual tweaking by the user to play”.
