Ubisoft released a brand new story trailer for on Tuesday, previewing the upcoming open-world action-adventure game and setting a release date for the title.
Star Wars Outlaws is set to release on August 30, 2024, and will launch on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The latest trailer dives deeper into the criminal underworld that players will explore as Kay Vess, an emerging scoundrel trying to start a new life. The video teases one of the main antagonists in the game, the crime boss Sliro, who Vess will have to avoid while also trying to rob his fortune.

Star Wars: Outlaws is available to preorder now, with several editions of the game available. The Standard Edition retails for $69.99 and includes the base game and the Kessel Runner Bonus Pack, which includes a cosmetic pack for the in-game speeder and starship. The Gold Edition of the game costs $109.99 and includes three day early access and the game’s season pass. An Ultimate Edition of the game is also available for $129.99 and includes everything in the Standard and Gold editions, as well as a digital art book and two extra cosmetic packs.
