From the very first time I played a Pokemon game, I've wished the world in which the games take place could be a reality, and I know I'm not the only one. Pokemon Go might be the closest we ever get to that reality, but it comes with one key flaw. You might be able to see the Pokemon, but you can't pet and physically interact with them. For that, you need plushes, and Pokemon has a selection of soft toys that have been crafted to the exact dimensions those Pokemon are given in the game.

That means while Pokemon Go lets you know what it's like to go out and track down Pokemon in the real world, these life size plushes give you an entirely different sense of realism. An indication of just how big or small these Pokemon are. Japan Pokemon Center exclusives, but available worldwide through Meccha Japan, the life size plush collection is made up of 15 Pokemon, all of them different sizes depending on how they appear in the games.

Not only do the Pokemon included in the collection vary in size, they also vary in price. That price appears to be dictated by how easy the plushes are to find as well as how big or small they are. Rowlet, for example, which Meccha Japan recently flaunted as being still in stock, is $62. Rowlet, Rotom, and Oshawott all have a rare tag on Meccha Japan, so grab them now while you still can, although the Oshawott plush is currently out of stock.

Pokemon's life size plushes are based on the exact dimensions of the Pokemon in the games. This particular plush clues you in on just how big a Sprogatito really is, and it's a lot bigger than it seems in Scarlet & Violet.

The cheapest life size plush available and in stock is the Jirachi one which you can get right now for less than $30. If you've got some cash to splash and you fancy adding a rarer plush or two to your Pokemon collection, there are currently some very expensive options in stock too. Slowpoke is $375, and Appletun is a jaw-dropping $828. Unsure why it will cost you almost 30 Jirachi, but Meccha Japan has given it a collector label when it comes to rarity and notes there's a very limited amount of stock left.

Pokemon sizes can be deceiving. Charizard, for example, is only five and a half feet tall. The best way to gauge a Pokemon's size is through this new collection of plushes. The life size plushes are based on the Pokemon's dimensions from the games, and Jirachi is a part of the collection.
