The developers also shared new data about player activity, such as stats showing that an average of 15 million skeletons are slayed daily, and an average 6.7 million diamonds are found each day.

Minecraft will celebrate its 15th anniversary next year in May, but sales are as strong as ever. During the recent Minecraft Live, Mojang Studios head Helen Chiang confirmed that the sandbox title has sold over 300 million copies. That means it’s still “one of the best-selling games of all time.”
