Starfield is Already One of NexusMods’ Most Popular Games, Even Before Official Mod Support’s Arrival

Mod support has always been the lifeblood of Bethesda Game Studios’ RPGs, with many of the studio’s biggest games – from Skyrim to Fallout 4 – have seen their shelf lives extended significantly by the activities of the modding community. Unsurprisingly, BGS has ever intention to foster a similar community for Starfield as well, which already seems to have got off to a great start. In fact, even though full, official mod support for Starfield – which will open up the Creation Engine toolset to the community – won’t arrive until sometime later this year, the sci-fi RPG’s modding community already seems to be quite active.

Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall Unity remaster hits 1.0, updating the biggest Bethesda map for today's PCs

I greet news of the completion of a Unity remaster for The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall with equal parts excitement and horror. Excitement because I have never played Daggerfall and it is one of the weirder, more fantastical Elder Scrolls RPGs - the one with multiple endings which sequels have explained away as somehow all being canon thanks to a metaphysical event called a Dragon Break, whereby timelines branch and reconnect. And horror because I have never played Daggerfall, which is said to be 62,0000 square miles in size, and I'm getting to that point in life where I seriously ask myself whether I can finish certain games before I perish.

This Fantasy RPG Might Ease The Wait For The Elder Scrolls 6

is almost assuredly going to be a marquee release when it eventually comes out, and the wait for it may be grueling, but another upcoming fantasy RPG may ease the suspense: . The last game in Bethesda's iconic series,, has proved to be perennially popular, and has become notorious for how many times it's been re-released. Its follow-up,, was perhaps prematurely announced, and is still not expected for many more years. While there aren't any games that scratch the exact same itch as a Bethesda RPG, Obsidian Entertainment's is poised to fill an adjacent niche.

An Obsidian Elder Scrolls Spin-Off Is Something We Deserve But Never Got

There is no doubt that series is massively successful, with five main games and a handful of smaller and online additions to the family. However, recently it has been revealed that there were almost spin-offs that would have bridged the gap between the main games. Upon hearing the news, many were understandably disappointed that this had never happened, and it got others dreaming of what could have been.
