Insomniac Games has swung out with a new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 update on PS5. Available to download, this newest patch includes a list of minor fixes with no new content added.
Included within this list are fixes for a number of suits, including “Amazing 2” which is based on Andrew Garfield’s costume from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Since the feature was added earlier this year, Insomniac has also ironed out some issues players had when accessing New Game+ from the main menu.
The patch notes can be reviewed in full below. We don’t have any other Spidey news for now, though there have been rumours of a DLC announcement coming soon. A recent Reddit thread shows how some users were able to access the game’s debug menu following the release of a previous patch, which includes reference to a “Beetle Villain Arc”. Anyway, here are those patch notes:
Spider-Man 2 was the marquee PlayStation 5 exclusive for 2023, with Insomniac delivering yet another fantastic showcase for Sony’s latest console. Alongside some glowing reviews, the game got off to a fantastic start at the tills, with PlayStation and developer Insomniac announcing that 2.5 million copies of the game were sold within the first 24 hours.
